By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or place an order.

We primarily serve customers through our online shop. Customers who need assistance with product availability, quotations, orders, delivery, returns or warranty support should contact us before placing an order where guidance is required.

2. Products and availability

We sell IT hardware, software, accessories and related technology products.

Product availability may change without notice. Some products may be sourced from suppliers, distributors or third-party vendors. This means stock availability, pricing, specifications, images and delivery timelines may change before an order is confirmed.

We try to keep product information accurate and up to date, but we cannot guarantee that all product descriptions, images, specifications, stock levels or prices will always be error-free.

3. Product images and specifications

Product images are for illustration purposes and may differ from the final product supplied. Product specifications are based on information provided by suppliers, manufacturers or distributors.

Before placing an order, customers are encouraged to confirm important specifications such as model number, processor, memory, storage, software licence type, warranty, compatibility and included accessories.

4. Pricing

All online shop prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR).

Unless otherwise stated, prices displayed on the online shop are VAT-inclusive where VAT applies.

Prices may change without notice due to supplier changes, exchange rate fluctuations, stock availability, promotions or corrections to listing errors.

Where a product has been listed at an incorrect price, we reserve the right to cancel the order, correct the price, and give the customer the option to proceed at the corrected price or receive a refund where payment has already been made.

5. VAT

Where applicable, VAT will be charged according to South African tax requirements.

The final checkout, quotation or invoice will show the applicable VAT treatment where relevant.

Customers may request a tax invoice by contacting Onkabetse IT Solutions with their order details.

6. Orders

Placing an order on the website does not automatically guarantee acceptance of the order.

An order is only confirmed once:

• payment has been received or approved;
• stock availability has been confirmed;
• product pricing has been verified; and
• the order has been accepted by Onkabetse IT Solutions.

We reserve the right to cancel or decline an order where:

• the product is unavailable;
• pricing or product information is incorrect;
• payment fails or is reversed;
• fraud or suspicious activity is suspected;
• supplier stock cannot be confirmed; or
• the order cannot be fulfilled for operational reasons.

7. Payment

Payment must be made using the payment methods available on the website or as otherwise agreed with Onkabetse IT Solutions.

Orders may only be processed after payment has been confirmed. Bank clearance times, payment gateway delays or manual verification may affect order processing times.

Onkabetse IT Solutions does not store full card details on this website. Where online payment options are available, payments may be processed securely by third-party payment providers or banking services.

8. Quotations

Customers may request quotations for selected products, bulk purchases or special orders.

Quotations are valid only for the period stated on the quotation. If no validity period is stated, the quotation may be subject to change based on supplier pricing and stock availability.

A quotation does not reserve stock unless confirmed in writing by Onkabetse IT Solutions.

9. Delivery

Delivery is subject to stock availability, payment confirmation, courier availability, delivery address, product size and supplier lead times.

Our standard online shop delivery fee is R100 for orders below R1,000. Orders of R1,000 or more qualify for free delivery, unless otherwise stated or confirmed before processing due to product size, weight, destination, special handling requirements or remote-area courier charges.

Estimated delivery timelines are provided as a guide only and are not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed in writing.

10. Risk and ownership

Ownership of products passes to the customer once full payment has been received.

Risk in the products passes to the customer once the products are delivered to the customer, collected by the customer, or handed over to the customer’s nominated courier or representative.

11. Returns and refunds

Returns and refunds are handled according to our Returns and Refund Policy.

Products may need to be inspected before a return, replacement, repair or refund is approved.

Certain items, including opened software licences, activated digital products, special-order products and products damaged through misuse, may not be eligible for return unless required by law.

12. Warranties

Products may include manufacturer, supplier or distributor warranties. Warranty periods and conditions differ depending on the product and brand.

Warranty claims may require inspection or assessment by the supplier, distributor or manufacturer before a repair, replacement, credit or refund is approved.

Warranties do not usually cover damage caused by misuse, negligence, incorrect installation, power surges, physical damage, liquid damage, unauthorised repairs or use outside the manufacturer’s guidelines.

Software products may be subject to licence terms from the software publisher or vendor.

Once software has been opened, activated, downloaded, registered or linked to a customer account, it may not be returnable unless defective or otherwise required by law.

Customers are responsible for checking software compatibility, licence type, subscription terms, renewal requirements and activation rules before purchasing.

14. Customer responsibilities

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information when placing an order, including:

• full name or company name;
• billing details;
• delivery address;
• contact number;
• email address; and
• any special delivery instructions.

Onkabetse IT Solutions will not be responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete customer information.

15. Website use

You agree not to misuse this website, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with website security, submit false information, or use the website for unlawful purposes.

We may restrict access to the website or cancel orders if suspicious, fraudulent, abusive or unlawful activity is detected.

16. Errors and omissions

We reserve the right to correct errors, update information, cancel affected orders or contact customers with revised information.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Onkabetse IT Solutions will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, including loss of income, loss of business, loss of data, downtime, compatibility issues, or delays caused by suppliers, couriers, manufacturers or third-party service providers.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to limit any rights that customers may have under applicable South African law.
